Although I have been an orienteer for nearly two years, yesterday night it was my first time to join an orienteering competition at night. It was a score event which I had little experience, and also a great challenge for me. I couldn’t run as fast as in other events because it was hard to see things in the dark, specifically, I couldn’t use point features to help me. Despite these hardships, I finished in time and got 590 points, the 7th place and got a medal.
