After a five-year hiatus from diving, I embarked on a transformative trip to the Maldives. Experiencing challenges and camaraderie, I reconnected with their passion for the sea. Despite not reaching my depth goal, the journey reawakens my “waterman” spirit, leading to a desire for future explorations, particularly to Gibraltar.

I completed my longest swim to date – 21.5 km! My longest swim distance has now exceeded my longest run distance (half marathon). I participated in the 11th edition of Vidösternsimmet, held on 2022-08-13. I completed the full distance race, 21.5 km from Osudden to Sundet, in 10:07:22. From 5 May to 9 May, I went on my second overseas trip after I moved to the UK. I only visited a single city on this trip, Vilnius. I went to Scotland last week for the second time this year, but this time I travelled overland instead of flying from England. The hostel I booked was near Victoria train station, thinking that it would offer fast travel to Tooting Bec Lido which is right beside the railway line between London Victoria and Brighton.
